The Opening Ceremony of 2013 Shenzhen Design Camp was Held Successfully at Yantian International Creative Harbor

The opening ceremony of 2013 Shenzhen design camp was held successfully at Yantian International Creative Harbor on the evening of November 21st,organizers are the promotion office of “City of Design”, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture,  Sports and Tourism and Shenzhen University.Contractors are Shenzhen Propaganda and Cultural Undertakings’ Special Funding,School of Art and Design, Shenzhen University , Shenzhen Modern Design Museum and Shenzhen Modern Art and Design Center.Besides, College of Industry Design, Shenzhen University, which is located at Yantian International Creative Harbor, assist to the activity. Mr Han Wangxi, member of Shenzhen Municipal Committee,vice minister of Shenzhen Publicity Department, the promotion director of “City of Design” and Mr Xing Feng, the vice secretory of Shenzhen University’s Party Committee,Mr Wu Dinghai, the standing committee of Yan Tian District Party Committee as well as Ms Xiang Shuaibing ,president of Shenzhen Sphinx Cultural Industry Investment Co., Ltd attended the conference. About 80 students and teachers have participated the ceremony.

On the conference, Mr Han Wangxi，Mr Xing Feng and Mr Wu Dinghai make a speech one by one and show their warm congratulations for the successful opening of design camp. Besides, they welcome these students designer and old students from home and abroad.The student who comes from Cornell university in the United States has made a speech on behalf of all the students and he express that he will depict the bright colors of Shenzhen with the inspiration released in design camp.

The topic of 2013 Shenzhen Design Camp activity is the travel of discover,students and teachers, in 16 design schools, who comes from home and abroad get together at Yan Tian International Creative Harbor or college of industrial design. The ten days of design camp activity has began and students’ products will be show at two activities, 2013 Shenzhen Design Camp and 2013 Shenzhen Design BBS on December 1st.
As the first activity to assist design college, college of industrial design will warm-up for the educational works in the future on the platform.Owing to the special school running patterns,”Park+college”, education and industry, people and market have joined successfully on the same platform. Project teaching and order-deal’ s cultivate have become the unprecedented in China. After the implementation, college of industrial design will host more creative design activities and talents & market activities with resources himself and advantage.It can lay a solid foundation for the talents input and talents develop of Yan Tian district’s advantage education.
