2005 Brands and Designers Awards
Closing date 31 August, 2005
1.Introduction
The Brands and Designers Awards 2005 will be the first awards ceremony of such scope ever held in China. The objective is to recognise talented designers from China and the Asia Pacific region – be the individuals, agencies or brands – who have been successful in a part of the world that has traditionally been better known for its production capabilities than design flair.
Chaired by internationally-celebrated designer Philippe Starck, the judging panel for the awards will also include numerous renowned personalities in the creative industry from both China and overseas.
This prestigious line-up of judges and awards will be a tremendous source of inspiration for budding designers and creative minds in China, whose talents will be required in the future to help develop new brands and continue improving product designs.
Staying true to the spirit of the BDCI exhibition, the awards have been divided into two main categories: Design and Brands.
