      Good Morning! 

      It is my pleasure to be participating to this first edition of Brands and Designers China Initiative. This event looks extremely promising and casts a new light on China as a future heavy user of creative talents and ideas. 

      Shenzhen is a young, passionate and energetic city in China at the heart of the Pearl River Delta region, which is now commonly referred to as the world’s factory. The entrepreneurs and industrialists of this dynamic region are now realizing the value design, marketing and branding can bring to their businesses. That is certainly why there is so much excitement among Shenzhen people and government agencies about design and the BDCI event. 

      Moreover, there is a rising awareness about Chinese culture in the rest of the world, today’s event provides the right platform to exchange design experience and knowledge between different cultures: creative industries and manufacturers, Chinese people and the rest of the world.

      Brands and Designers China Initiative 2005 is a place where businesses and creative minds from China and around the world converge to explore business opportunities related to design and brand development. It is an invaluable chance for CEOs from international brands and Designers from around the world to meet together to discuss and share. 

      The 4-day exhibition and conference is the right platform for international designers, Chinese designers and brand owners to exchange creative ideas , business vision and global experience. 

      I wish BDCI will be a tremendous success and the first of a long series that will help Chinese brands and products seduce a large global audience!
