IF Offers Young Designers Three Competitions for 2010

Hannover (Germany) - For 2010 iF International Forum Design GmbH (iF), an Icsid Promotional Member, offers the young design generation not only one but three chances to win a competition and distinguish themselves from their competitors. As long as the conditions are met, you can participate with your entry - or entries - in all three competitions, which are free of charge.
iF concept award 2010
A great opportunity for young designers!
Especially for young designers, it is important to present their products, designs and ideas to the public. Therefore the iF concept award presents all qualified contributions to the public at the CeBIT show from 2-6 March 2010 in Hanover, Germany. In addition, the professional jury awards a total of EUR 30,000 in prize money to some of the 100 best contributions, the winners of the iF concept award. Students of all design, architecture, marketing and engineering courses as well as young graduates of these disciplines are cordially invited to attend.

lebens(t)räume 2010
Call for "ambient assisted living" and "humane robotics" ideas!
2010 the Vincentz Network presents for the seventh time the competition "lebens(t)räume" (dreams of life) with the categories universal design and assisted living. Students and graduates - up to two years after graduation - from the faculties design, marketing, engineering, architecture and interior design are invited to participate. Major topics of the competition this year are "ambient assisted living" and "human robotics". The jury awards prize money of a total EUR 6,000 among the winners.

material TRENDS award 2010
Brand new young generation's competition about material TRENDS!
For the very first time the material TRENDS award, a new competition for students and recent graduates of the departments of design, architecture and interior design will take place. The focus of the competition is on trends for composite materials and lightweight constructions. The jury awards the three winners of the material TRENDS award a prize money totalling EUR 5,000.
Hand in technical twists and lightweight builds to improve the future. Registration for the material TRENDS award is open until 26 January 2010.
