Essen (Germany) - The achievements of decades – red dot presents an exhibition with products by the Tupperware World Wide Design Team, the red dot: design team of the year 2009, in Singapore
Since 17 September 2009 products of the Tupperware Worldwide Design Team, which received the title "red dot: design team of the year 2009" at a festive gala in Essen, Germany on 29 June 2009, have been on show at the red dot design museum Singapore. Thus the design team headed by Vice President Susan Perkins was honoured for its continuous design achievements and the products that have also won several accolades in the red dot design award.
"Winning the red dot design awards is an indication that we are keeping up with our commitment in delivering functional, yet stylish products to our everyday consumer. It is a notable accomplishment, and certainly a great honour," says Christian Skroeder, Group President of Tupperware Brands Corporation. The fact that these products can now - thanks to the title "red dot: design team of the year" and red dot's international orientation - also be presented to a wide audience in Asia is an important milestone for the company.
On 17 September 2009 the exhibition was officially opened in front of 200 invited guests in Singapore by Christian Skroeder, the Group President of Tupperware Brands Corporation, David Wong, the Southeast Asia Markets Area Vice-President and Managing Director, Puan Ni Ning Pernama, the Managing Director of Tupperware Indonesia, and the red dot President in Asia, Ken Koo.

A special highlight of this opening ceremony was, amongst others, a "Tupper Fashion Show" with imaginative creations made out of Tupperware products. The exhibition featuring hundreds of exhibits from the period from 1992 to 2009 provides a lively impression of the design achievements of the Tupperware Worldwide Design Team. It will be on display at the red dot design museum in Singapore for the duration of one year.
