In the morning of September 18, 2015, the Shenzhen East EG Maker Space and Entrepreneurial Base came on the stage and the opening ceremony was grandly hosted in Yantian International Creative Harbor. There were hundreds of attendants to this ceremony including Shenzhen City Yantian District Standing Committee delegates, and Secretary of Youth League committee—Zhangzhi, Vice President of Economic Development Bureau—Ling Xuecan, delegates of Yantian District Committee Organization Department and Personnel Center—Ou Shuo, elites of Entrepreneurs and representatives of maker space.

The Shenzhen East EG Entrepreneurial Base fulfill the blank in the east on the map of Shenzhen Entrepreneurial Base. With the national policies which encourage all people to start up and innovate, Sphinx Group came up with “Sphinx Internet+”concept, namely “Sphinx EG”  to adapt to the age of Big Data. EG, a branch of Sphinx, is a one-stop service and creative entrepreneur hatch platform with open offices, diversified equipment, all-round services and comprehensive information. At present, it includes the first 5A high-end maker space--JD·EG International Maker Space and the biggest maker space in the eastern of Shenzhen-- ShenzhenEast EG Maker Space and Entrepreneurial Base.

In the events, professionals were invited and had a comments salon. They are investors of venture companies, start-up company mentors, maker delegates and other elites in the related fields. The establishment of Eastern Entrepreneurial Base balance the distribution and amount of Shenzhen Maker industry and space. In the operation model of Make Space 2.0, which covers office hatch, investment and financing docking, business model building, branding promotion and enterprising training and consultant. It had set up 5 functional spaces including Maker Space, EG+Maker Coffee, Maker apartment, Maker Square and Innovation Academic, and 4 service platforms including EG Online, Maker Hero, Sphinx Intelligent Fund and EG+Maker community.
