The First “Germany Design 4.0” Theme Exhibition in China
2015 “Germany Design 4.0”Sino-Gernmany Design Commercial Exhibition Serial Activities
The 11th ICIF City of Design sub-venue stayed focusing on top creative design trends on behalf of Germany. Here the “Germany Design 4.0” serial activities were held, forming the first “Germany Design 4.0” theme exhibition in China, aiming to bring the advanced concepts and creative technologies to China, offering intelligent innovative front-end design for customized plan “Intelligent Manufacturing in China 2025”, and outputting top innovative resources to help Shenzhen build international “City of Creative Makers” with huge design industry groupS and Intelligent Manufacturing groups.
“Germany Design 4.0” absorbs the innovation and concept essence of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Bavaria has the leading edge core resources of “Germany design 4.0”, encourages planting design into every corner of product design as a culture, makes it an “essential need” of products’ personalization and intelligentization.
At City of Design sub-venue of ICIF, masters, experts, enterprise representatives and entrepreneurs from China and Germany gathered together, to investigate the new trends of “Design 4.0”, contribute to start a new era. Meanwhile, pushing the settlement of “Sino-Germany design center” project cooperated by Sphinx and Bavaria Design Center can train more high-end talents for the two countries.
Highlights:
1. It is the first “Germany Design 4.0” Theme Exhibition in China. Focusing on intelligent life, more than 400 intelligent products show up on behalf by Bavaria Design (Asia).
2. Masters from China and Germany gather together, share design concepts, investigate innovative methods, and contribute to the development of “Sino-Germany 4.0”.
Delegation of government officers and design masters including Bavaria government investigator Eichmann, inspector Dr. Peer Ivo, Berggreen-Merkel, Dr. Ingeborg etc. lead the communication on “Design 4.0”.
3.It helps building “Sino-Germany 4.0” high-end education platform based on Sino-Germany design center, training high quality talents for Shenzhen’s building of “City of Creative Makers”.
Features of the Industrial Estate
City of Design Creative Industrial Estate is a national culture industry demonstrative base. It features industrial design and devotes thoroughly to the “Design+ Intelligent Manufacturing” development of Shenzhen and the whole country. So far it is the largest industrial design park in China with 260 companies settled in. By years’ development, City of Design has become the interactional creative design purchase center of GM, Motorola, Wal-Mart, Electrolux, Huawei, ZTE, Mindray, BYD, Haier, Midea, Lenovo etc. The industrial park, where 80% of corporations are national leading enterprises, gathers a couple of leading design companies like LKK, Ciga design and SunupCG. “Sino-Germany Design Center” built by the park and Bavaria Design Center has become an important public service platform to link Shenzhen design with the world.
