From 15th to 19th May, ICIF City of Design Industrial Park sub-venue opened, and the signing of Sino-Germany design center project was launched. It will be settled in Futian District, opening an new era of Sino-Germany cooperation that focus on design. Meanwhile, Sino-Germany medical instruments design theme exhibition and Sino-Germany medical instruments design industry communication forum were held. Hundreds of top-level medical instruments from two countries were presented.
Sino-Germany design center is one of the important projects of “Sphinx Cultural Industry Group- Bavaria Design Center joint design projects agreement”. The Unveiling Ceremony will be held at Oct. 2014.
Bavaria design center is the design promotion organization of Bavaria states in Munich and Nuremberg. Dr. Silke Claus, the CEO, is the leading person of Germany industrial design, works also as judge of several domestic and international design matches. This time he personally came to Shenzhen for the signing. It will push the creative design industry of Shenzhen and Germany to a new stage of mutual development, achieve seamless contact of related industry chains, accelerate the international process of “design in Shenzhen”.
The theme of City of Design sub-venue was “Design for Health”. Hundreds of top-level medical instruments from China and Germany were exhibited, including Vital Signs Monitor, Ultrasound imaging equipment, Smart Infusion Pump, Luminescence immunoassay equipment, home medical products etc.. The exhibition focused on global creative design resources, pushed the joint development of industrial design with new technology, new material, and new industry application, encouraged the contact between industrial design and multiple industries, accelerated the high ending, internationalization, and branding of Shenzhen industrial design development, advanced the change from “made in Shenzhen” to “design in Shenzhen” and “create in Shenzhen”.
At the Sino-Germany medical instruments design industry communication forum, started from “relationship of industrial design with medical instruments development”, experts and designers from two countries communicated and investigated present hot topics, like “combine technology with creativity”, “healthy designs change the world”, “Mutual promotion between industrial design and medical service” etc..
